Inconel 625 is a main component of nickel austenitic superalloys. Since the nickel-chromium alloy contains molybdenum and niobium in solid solution with enhanced effect, thus from low to high tensile strength of 1093 ℃, and exceptional fatigue resistance, it has been widely used in the oil and gas industry.

Although this alloy was designed for high temperature, but a high content of chromium and molybdenum in the alloy, from a high oxidizing environment for the environment in general more corrosion media, have a high anti-corrosion and fission point corrosion. Corrosive environment, exhibit excellent corrosion resistance properties. INCONEL 625, such as pair of water, geothermal water, neutral salt and chloride brine such media also has a strong resistance to corrosion. It has good tensile and fatigue properties from cryogenic to 980 ℃, and having a resistance to stress corrosion in a salt spray environment.
